Behind the... (Adult oriented)

Because this one is adult oriented, I won't be posting a picture. Let's just say they are behind the... bush (and flowered paper). ;-)

It's A Girl

The embellishments on this card appear to be yellowish, but they were actually pink!

It's A Boy

I carved this cute little baby and decided to make two LTCs, one blue and one pink. The embellishments actually match better on the card than they appear to here.

This Is Bear Country

This is my interpre- tation of a Green Tortuga stamp. He gave me the stamp for winning the auction.

Better late than never, I guess. This was a new stamp I'd caved for a sig stamp, but I think I like my old sig stamp better than this one.

Rose

A simple Rose carved for the "Spring Flower SD Ring". Cards were created with the stamp before it left to make the rounds of the ring. I also created shrinky dinks for the ring with this stamp.

I'm in the Money

I created this card for Green Tortuga based on a comment he made on the AQ boards. I was in an auction to help support his hike from Key West, FL to Springer Mountain, GA. I won the auction and he won the cash!

Betty Boop

This one is actually my personal traveler "Curvaceous Cartoon Character". The card was printed with the black hearts and Betty Boop was stamped with black too. On the card, the blacks were very close, but in the photo they aren't.

Butterfly

This card was fun and easy to make too. The butterfly was a simple carve, and the ribbon matched perfectly.

Singing in the Rain

This card was made for another ring, Favorite Seasons: Old Faces. I like to sing in the rain, so this was an easy one for me. I made the background for this one in a photo editor program. Those little musical notes took quite a while to make them look right.

Holmium

I signed up for the periodic table swap, but I haven't finished this card yet. I'll post a photo when I do. Thankfully, this one isn't due until June.
Update: Finally finished this card and got it sent off last week.

Recipe

A special recipe for a Happy Marriage. Taken to heart, it serves 2 for a lifetime. :-)

Rocking Horse

I loved this image as soon as I saw it and knew that I wanted to carve it. The LTCs were created for a friend's granddaughter who was having her first birthday. I also gave her the stamp for the baby's keepsake box. The little charms at the top were a pink metallic, but you can't really tell in this photo.

The Snowman

I created Christmas greeting cards with this image and made LTCs for everyone. I also included shrinky dinks for anyone who'd joined one of my PLB last year.

Dancing Gingerbread & The Three Wisemen Bonus

These two were created for the Christmas swap. I did The Three Wisemen first, wasn't satisfied with how simple they looked, but couldn't figure out how to embellish them. So then I created the Dancing Gingerbread.

What's Your Sign?

This was my first card created for individual trades. The twelve signs of the zodiac were carved and when someone requested a card, I created it based on their sign. I'm a Leo, so this one represents me.

Overall Sam and Sunbonnet Sue

I created these two for my first group swap. I thought when I carved them that they would both fit onto one card, but they didn't. So everyone in the group got an unexpected bonus. :-)

Welcome!

This is my first blog, so bear with me, I'm still learning and trying new things. I wanted to create this blog to host photos of my LTCs. Hopefully I'll also improve with them as time goes by.
